I started this blog so my daughters could find all of our family favourite recipes in one place. It has actually grown into more than just the family favourites but also other recipes we've tried out in our kitchen. I don't like to fill up the post with alot of chatter. Sometimes there's a little story to tell, but usually I like to get right to the point. So this is for them, but hope you find some recipes that you like as well. I'll be sharing a lot of recipes, and along the way you'll find some crafty things and maybe some helpful hints too! Welcome!

Simple Sriracha Salmon

Mix up the sauce, a few minutes in the oven and you've got supper ready.

4 salmon fillets
2 tsp lemon zest

2 tsp sriracha hot sauce
2 tsp lime juice
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp honey

1/2 tsp salt

Place the salmon fillets on a parchment lined baking sheet and sprinkle the lemon zest on top.
Mix together the sriracha, lime juice, brown sugar and honey and spoon over the fillets.
Sprinkle with salt.

Bake in a 425 F oven for 13 - 15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
