I started this blog so my daughters could find all of our family favourite recipes in one place. It has actually grown into more than just the family favourites but also other recipes we've tried out in our kitchen. I don't like to fill up the post with alot of chatter. Sometimes there's a little story to tell, but usually I like to get right to the point. So this is for them, but hope you find some recipes that you like as well. I'll be sharing a lot of recipes, and along the way you'll find some crafty things and maybe some helpful hints too! Welcome!

Baked Buffalo Fries

Baked not fried.....serve with sour cream. Yum!

5 potatoes, skin on
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
2-3 tbsps  your favourite BBQ sauce
squirt of sriracha sauce
splash of lemon juice
cayenne pepper
paprika
salt

Cut the potatoes in wedges and place in a plastic bag or a saved wax cereal bag.

Mix together the vinegar, BBQ sauce, sriracha and lemon juice and toss with the potato wedges. I used President's Choice Beer and Chiptle BBQ sauce. You can toss in the seasons too or wait until you have the potatoes on the baking sheet to sprinkle them on.

Give them an extra squirt of sriracha and bake at 450F for 20 minutes.
