I started this blog so my daughters could find all of our family favourite recipes in one place. It has actually grown into more than just the family favourites but also other recipes we've tried out in our kitchen. I don't like to fill up the post with alot of chatter. Sometimes there's a little story to tell, but usually I like to get right to the point. So this is for them, but hope you find some recipes that you like as well. I'll be sharing a lot of recipes, and along the way you'll find some crafty things and maybe some helpful hints too! Welcome!

BBQ Asian Chicken Breast

Just a light Asian flavour to these moist chicken breasts.

1 lb boneless chicken breast
1 small apple, unpeeled
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tbsps soya sauce
1 tbsp banana pepper, minced
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp sesame oil

Grate a small apple and 1 clove of garlic. The apple I used was literally just about the same size as a head of garlic.

Mix all the ingredients together and slather onto the chicken breasts. Refrigerate a few hours.
Heat up the grill to medium high and cook 5-6 minutes per side. Rest a few minutes before slicing.
